Using Digital Formative Assessment to Evaluate EFL Learners’ English Speaking Skills

As it is known formative assessment focuses on both the learning process and learner's performance. In this study digital traditional speaking tests were utilized comparatively to evaluate 52 upper-intermediate EFL learners' English language skills. The was designed as a mixed-method. quantitative data collected via achievement which had been administered in tests. qualitative findings with students' interviews consisted of four open-ended questions. results showed that participants outperformed comparison Another significant finding are satisfied assessments terms peer collaboration during tests, enriched test materials, preparation time for test.
